Loobies Story
It's been an honour to work with Laurinda Sutcliffe and her gorgeous label Loobies Story.
Fabrics are designed exclusively for this label and printed digitally on to silk.
The Loobies Story team are very clever with their range and fabric yardage - several corresponding pieces in the season’s range can be created by the engineering of the print and the pattern cutting of the print repeat.
Taking the seasonal inspiration supplied to me, I am often crafting hand-drawn elements and I use Photoshop or Illustrator to produce the designs. We maximise the qualities that digital print can offer by using translucent layering and effects within the design. These cannot be achieved (easily) with traditional screenprinting.
Files are high resolution at actual size and I work out the design repeat down the fabric.
